Free Pet Days

Girl with Dog at BeachBring your pet for a day at the beach. We’re waiving our pet fees Sunday–Thursday nights. The Mendocino Coast is very pet-friendly, so bring your 4-legged friend along for the ride!

Our normal fee is $25 for the first night, and $15/night for subsequent nights.

 

Ocean Kayak Adventure Package

This two night package includes accommodations in an Ocean view room King Bed (or two doubles), cozy down comforter and Victorian decor. Enjoy a continental breakfast in the Lounge with a steaming cup of organic coffee before embarking on a professionally guided sea cave tour and more at Van Damme State several minutes south of the hotel. While sitting on a “sit on top” Ocean Kayak for the next hour and a half your life will take on that of a marine mammal, joining the harbor seals, sea stars, algaes and shorebirds in this incredibly rich and diverse habitat. All tours are easily paddled by beginners and require no prior experience, as Van Damme is a special place offering protection and channels in either direction. After the ocean adventure relax in our sister property The Mendocino Hotel’s comfortable lobby before a 200 year old Dutch wood burning fireplace and delight in a Bistro dinner for two with a glass of Mendocino wine and freshly made desserts—like the signature Ollaliberry deep dish pie!!

The following day return to The Mendocino hotel where you will feast on a scrumptious breakfast for two, then you may then decide to stroll in the hotel’s two acres of Botanical Grades or shop in local boutiques. Visit the historic Kelly House which was donated to the village by the owner of the Mendocino Hotel. Hear historians tell of shipwrecks, lighthouses and life at the lumber mills. Walk the Mendocino Headlands with its breathtaking views or Big River and its unspoiled nature and redwoods.

Miniature Golf Family Getaway

This two night package includes accommodations in an Ocean view room King Bed (or two doubles), cozy down comforter and Victorian decor. (Sleeps up Two Adults and Two Children)

Enjoy a continental breakfast in the Lounge with a steaming cup of organic coffee. Then continue the day with a round of Miniature Golf for up to four people. Watch the sunset and then relax in the comfortable lobby of our sister property The Mendocino Hotel and delight in a Bistro dinner for four with a glass of local Mendocino Wine (over 21 only) and award winning desserts. Awaken your second day refreshed and ready for adventure. A stroll on the beach or around the headlands trail is always good to get your blood pumping. A delicious lunch in The Mendocino Hotel’s Garden Café will give you the energy to explore the village‘s many boutique shopping opportunities. The kids will enjoy “Bookwinkles”, “Out of This World” and especially the “Village Toy Store”.

At the end of the day relax in our sister property The Mendocino Hotel’s comfortable lobby and delight in a Bistro dinner for two (or 4) with a glass of Mendocino House Red or White Wine and dessert. Enjoy complimentary Local Mendocino wine tasting each day of your stay and ice cream cones for children of paying guests. This one night package includes accommodations in a Garden room with King Bed (or two doubles) cozy down comforter and Victorian décor. Awake to the distant sounds of surf, foghorns or seals. Then savor organic coffee and tea with a continental breakfast in The Hill House lounge. Just minutes away is your planned visit to the Botanical Gardens which is highlighted by a wonderful picnic lunch prepared by the executive chef of our sister property The Mendoicno Hotel’s Drew Ison. This gourmet picnic lunch includes a half bottle of local Mendocino wine. After your adventure at the Botanical Gardens return to The Mendocino Hotel for a Bistro Dinner for two and complimentary wine tasting.

Couples Massage Getaway

This one night package includes accommodations in our Ocean View room with King Bed (or two doubles), cozy down comforter and Victorian décor. A chilled bottle of local sparkling wine will await you upon arrival. Enjoy complimentary organic coffee and tea with your continental breakfast when you awake in our cozy lounge. Let our trained massage therapist’s sooth your jangled nerves with a wonderful one hour couples massage in the comfort of your room. Then enjoy a delicious dinner in our Victorian Dining room that includes a glass of Mendocino House Red or White Wine and dessert.
